What People's Say About Place

Very attentive & friendly host and staff!!! Best Mexican I’ve had in a long time. The food was very tasty with quality tender meat. It’s very clean and comfortable and has calm lighting and decorating. Chill Mexican music too, Most definitely will be back, hard to find a place like this anymore.

Have been coming here since they opened. New owners as of August and Ill continue to come to see how everything is! Menu is the same with great service! The remodel really brightened up the place and the outside. Compared previously, the new Huarache was thinner and caused it to sag slightly. I'd go for a thicker masa base like previously. Looking forward to our next visit!

Everything was made fresh including the tortillas chips. The sope was fried and packed. The salsa was good. Was not a fan of the red chilaquiles.

Went here twice this week, now called CDMX Tacos, absolute fire food. Super authentic, the tortillas are handmade and amazing. Great service from a small crew, be patient, get rewarded.

The food is good, but the atmosphere inside is a bit cold (in terms of both temperature and decor). We sat at a booth along the window and unfortunately the window isn’t sealed around the edges, so there was a draft coming though and it was a bit chilly. Service for us was great, but I think there may have only been one staff member working and he got a little behind on orders as more people started coming in after we got there. I ordered the pizza birria which was large and good, but felt like it was lacking a little flavor (onions and cilantro would help!). My friends enjoyed their tacos and burrito with the house green and red sauces. If I go back, I probably won’t be dining in.

Delicious & gigantic quesabirria tacos!! Easily the best in Vancouver. Prices were reasonable and the restaurant looked very clean inside. The gentleman staffing the front was bilingual and very nice. The *only* downside, and I only mean for this to sound like constructive feedback, was the air quality was a bit smoky. Not enough to make me want to leave, but noticeable. Not sure if this is a normal thing or a one-off as this was my first time here. And I'll definitely be back! :)

I recently visited Vancouver Taqueria, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots in the area. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, authentic, and welcoming. The vibrant décor, the smell of freshly prepared food, and the friendly staff created a perfect first impression that only got better throughout my visit. The menu at Vancouver Taqueria is impressive — a great balance between classic Mexican favorites and unique house specialties. I ordered several items to try, and every single dish was full of flavor. The tacos were especially memorable: perfectly seasoned meat, fresh toppings, and homemade tortillas that tasted soft and warm. The carne asada was incredibly tender, the chicken had a rich smoky flavor, and the carnitas were perfectly crispy on the edges while still juicy inside. You can tell that everything is cooked with care and high-quality ingredients. The portion sizes were generous, and the food came out surprisingly fast even though the place was busy. I also tried their salsa bar, and it was fantastic — fresh salsas, different heat levels, and each one had its own unique taste. Their guacamole was another standout: creamy, flavorful, and clearly made fresh. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff checked in several times to make sure I had everything I needed, and they were happy to give recommendations. It’s always nice when you can feel that the employees genuinely care about their customers’ experience. The restaurant itself was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it great for both quick lunches and casual dinners. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality and portions, which is another big plus. Overall, Vancouver Taqueria is a place I’m happy to recommend to anyone who loves great Mexican food. Whether you’re craving tacos, burritos, or just want a delicious and satisfying meal, this spot delivers every time. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more from their menu.

This hole in the wall is truly a Gem! I haven't been able to find delicious Mexican food since relocating from El Paso, TX and this place tastes like home the agua fresca de Jamaica was refreshing, the flautas are to die for and the salsas are fiery! I'm bringing every friend/coworker I can to eat here
